Delivery & Payment

WPL Trading delivers hardware, tools, plumbing, paint and building materials anywhere in Sri Lanka. This page explains how delivery works, what it costs, and how you can pay. Last updated: September 2026.

How we deliver

• Island-wide courier — we send orders by courier to every district in Sri Lanka.
• Our own vehicle — for Warakapola and the surrounding area we deliver ourselves, which is faster and cheaper for heavy goods.
• Collect from the shop — order online and pick it up at No. 305, Kandy Road, Dummaladeniya, Warakapola. No delivery charge.

How long it takes

Orders placed before 4.00 p.m. on a working day are usually despatched the same day. Delivery by courier normally takes 2 to 4 working days depending on your district. Local delivery by our own vehicle is usually same day or next day. We will call you if an item is out of stock.

Delivery charges

The charge depends on the weight, size and destination, so it is confirmed when we take your order. Bulky goods — water tanks, box bar, plywood, aluminium sheet, cement and tiles — are quoted separately, because they travel by lorry rather than by courier. Send us your list through Request a Quote or call +94 71 302 4843 and we will give you the delivered price before you pay.

Heavy and long items

Water tanks, box bar, alkathene pipe rolls, plywood and aluminium sections cannot go by normal courier. We arrange lorry transport for these, and for large orders we can often deliver them the same week. Tell us the quantity and the town and we will price the transport.

How you can pay

• Bank transfer — we send you the account details and despatch once payment shows.
• Cash on delivery — pay the courier or our driver when the goods reach you.
• Cash or card at the shop — if you are collecting your order.

Prices on this website are in Sri Lankan Rupees (LKR).
