Cutting & Grinding Disc Prices in Sri Lanka
Cutting and grinding discs here run from about Rs 146 to Rs 2,300, depending on whether it is an abrasive disc or a diamond wheel and what size it is. Prices below are live from our stock system.
We stock the 4″ (105 mm) and 4.5″ (115 mm) sizes that fit the angle grinders almost everyone uses.

Which disc for which job
- Abrasive cutting disc — thin, cheap, wears down as you use it. For steel, box bar, rebar.
- Grinding disc — thicker, for taking material off a weld or an edge, not for cutting.
- Diamond wheel — hard segments on a steel body. For concrete, block and masonry. Costs more, lasts far longer.
- Tile wheel — a smooth diamond rim for cutting tile without chipping the face.

Common questions
Can I cut concrete with an abrasive disc?
You can, badly, and you will go through discs quickly. Concrete and block want a diamond wheel.
Do the sizes matter?
Yes — the disc has to match the grinder. A 115 mm disc does not belong on a grinder built for 105 mm. Check the guard size on your machine.
How long does a diamond wheel last?
Far longer than an abrasive disc — normally many jobs rather than one — but it depends entirely on what you cut and how hard you push it.
