Mild steel box bar in 1″ × 1″ section with a 1.4 mm wall — a light section, used for grilles, window frames, furniture, shelving brackets, signage frames and light partition work.

This is a strong gauge, for work that carries load or lives outdoors — gates, security grilles, racking, canopy frames. The extra wall thickness also means it rusts through far more slowly.
