A 115 mm (4.5 inch) diamond wheel made specifically for tile — a finer rim than a general masonry disc, so the glazed face chips less along the cut line.
Mark the cut on the glaze, score lightly first, then take the full depth on a second pass. Cutting from the back reduces chipping further on porcelain.
Keep the disc moving and let it cool; tile discs wear quickly if held in one spot. Stocked in 4″ and 4.5″.
