Multibond 494 contact adhesive in a 1 L tin. Contact adhesive is what you use for laminate on board, rubber, leather, foam, fabric and shoe repairs — anywhere clamping is impractical.
The method is always the same: spread a thin even coat on both surfaces, wait until it is touch-dry, then bring them together. The bond grabs immediately, so line the pieces up before they touch — there is no second chance to slide them.
The 1 L tin is the size for a carpentry shop or a full fitting job.
