A Watertec pillar tap with a chrome handle — a deck-mounted basin tap that stands through the hole in the basin itself.

A lever handle is easier to work with wet or soapy hands than a knurled knob, and easier for older users and children, which is why levers have largely replaced knobs on new basin taps.
