A Xiao paint brush in the 1 inch width. One inch is the fine brush: touch-ups, small repairs, grille bars, corners and anywhere a wider brush would flood the surface.
Brush size is about control, not speed: a wide brush loads more paint but a narrow one gives you the edge. Most painters keep two or three widths and swap as the work changes.
Wash the brush out properly in the right solvent — water for emulsion, thinner for enamel — and it will keep its shape for years.
