A Xiao paint brush in the 3 inch width. Three inches is the widest of the range and the one to use on flush doors, wide skirting, gates and medium wall areas where a roller would be awkward.
Brush size is about control, not speed: a wide brush loads more paint but a narrow one gives you the edge. Most painters keep two or three widths and swap as the work changes.
Wash the brush out properly in the right solvent — water for emulsion, thinner for enamel — and it will keep its shape for years.
